Business web hosting reliability information

We know that it's important that your internet based services are operational 24/7. The Internet is something that businesses have come to rely on and for some, it is their business entirely. That's why we've taken extra steps to ensure that our services are always here when you need them.

Physical Environment

Our hosting platform is located within the Melboure CBD and is monitored 24/7 by the Network Operations Centre (NOC).

Redundant Power

Power is supplied to the platform via 2 separate power grids, each backed by a basement full of batteries combined with a desiel generator on the roof.

Temperature Control

Servers aren't meant to sunbake and that's why our hosting platform is located in a temperature controlled room so you'll know our hardware wont fail when it's needed the most.

Network Connectivity

All network connectivity is provided via redundant paths by duplicating all cabling and switching hardware.

Service Separation

Over the years we've heard stories about when one system goes down, it all goes down. That is not the case at ayuda hosting. All our applications are segregated into different service groups: www, mail, database, dns, monitoring, load balancing and backups.

Service Duplication

While we endeavour to reduce the chance of a system failure, lets be honest; nothing lasts forever. It is a fact of life and that's why we have duplicated every service in our hosting platform. This enables us to tolerate system failures without any disruption to the services provided to our clients. Even our monitoring system is duplicated, so we get notified about any system event twice!

Data Storage

Due to its use of moving parts, the hard disk is possibly the most common point of failure in any IT infrastructure. That's why we utilise RAID 1+0 (RAID 10) in all systems so that any disk failure can be tolerated without any service downtime.

Monitoring

Our hosting platform is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days per week by a sophisticated monitoring service that generates email and SMS alerts directly to our networks operation centre.
